About eMarketing Solutions
President
Bert Hogan has been in e-marketing since first being hired by
a mountain sports web site, MountainZone.com, in 1997. Here he
succeeded in getting top 10 rankings for the site's most crucial
search terms, as well as dozens of subsidiary ones, as they do
to this day. He also was the banner advertising coordinator, advising
on which sites to advertise with, managing the campaigns, and
creating concepts for the ads. Over time, it became obvious that
the specialized skill to get a web site good search engine visibility
was something many other sites needed. Bert took on other clients,
achieving top 10 rankings for a variety of sites, including the
Christian Science Monitor. He has written documents on search
engine strategy, and continues to interact with other search engine
optimization professionals through online discussion lists. With
his eleven years of experience, he has formed a philosophy of search
engine optimization that is effective, stable, budget-friendly,
and ethical.
Search engine optimization, if done correctly the first time,
need never be altered except for changes in content of the site,
and should reap rewards long after initial optimization.
Bert has a B.A. in political science from Principia College and
worked at Microsoft in Redmond, WA before becoming a search engine
optimization professional.
